As you can see, there are many steps that have to happen in order, and in harmony, to successfully buy a house. Don't worry - we do this every day, and we're available to answer any questions you may have before or during the home buying process.
"Where do I start?"
1A. Request a Buyer Consultation
Our agents will always ask a prospective home buyer to first meet in person, or over a digital meeting, to get to know each other. You need to feel comfortable with your agent, and feel heard when it comes to your home buying goals. If we're doing our job right, we'll start to hear clues and look for solutions to start taking steps toward your home purchase!
1B. Meet with a Lender
If you're not a cash buyer, it's imperative that you first determine if a lender is able to approve you to buy a home in the first place. Home sellers traditionally expect to see a pre-approval letter accompanying an offer to purchase, and we equally don't want to help a buyer find a home they love, only to find out later they don't qualify to buy it. Make getting pre-approved your primary goal to start your home buying journey.
