For New York native Matt D'Angelo, the road to the Burris Realty Group was as unique as the man himself – filled with twists, turns, and surprises along the way.
Growing up on Long Island, Matt has always possessed a no-nonsense, hardworking approach to life. Matt, never backing down from a challenge, attended West Virginia University, where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees. Embracing every opportunity that presented itself to him, the ambitious and determined Long Islander leaped at the chance to intern for the United States Olympic Committee before enlisting in the Navy. After returning home from the Navy, Matt read the book that would change his life: Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, he began researching, studying, and exploring the world of real estate investment. After accepting a job opportunity as a college advisor at Ball State University, Matt relocated to Indiana and began searching for a home to call his own. On that fateful day in 2014, Matt met Clay Burris – and the rest is history. Beyond purchasing his own home, Matt and Clay began to build a strong bond over real estate investment and built an impressive portfolio of properties throughout the region. Realizing he wanted to take on a more significant role in the industry and help support others through their own real estate journey, Matt got his real estate license and joined Clay's team. Matt enjoys spending quality time in the great outdoors with his wife Kim and their two goofy, wonderful golden retrievers in his spare time. When he isn't playing golf, battling it out during a fierce round of paintball, or slapping the puck around on the ice hockey rink, Matt can be found with other competitive athletes in the Spartan Race events. |
